The preeminent superhero of the modern age and founding member of the modern Champions of Liberty, Magnitude embodies the American Dream.
When he was 15, Roy Sutton and his scout troop were hiking in the hills of Tennessee when they came across a newly fallen Procrustium meteorite. The radiation transformed them all, but Roy was augmented into a superior lifeform while the rest of the scouts became monsters. Using his newfound intelligence and powers, Roy subdued and cured his friends.
Adopting the costumed identity of Magnitude, Roy moved to New Athens and began his career as a superhero. With his “small-town boy made good” persona, soft accent and radiant charisma, Magnitude quickly became the city’s favorite son.
